The Rossmoor Duplicate Bridge Club (RDBC) is offering a Play of the Hand class. Classes will be held in the Oak Room at Gateway on Tuesdays from 10am to noon beginning September 10 and continuing for eight weeks.

The textbook will be Play of the Hand by Audrey Grant. The class will be taught by Kathrine Loh, who will order the textbooks in bulk providing a nice savings to stu-dents. Textbooks will be approximately $16 instead of $24 if ordered individually.

This class concentrates on play of the hand; there will be no bidding. It is appropriate for those who already know how to bid and play bridge.

The cost is $50 for RDBC members with an additional $10 membership fee for nonmem-ber residents. The nonresident cost is $100. Checks should be payable to the RDBC and can be brought to the first class.
